Why wont my sunbeam water cooler chill the water?
Its got power, I can hear the compressor running and the thermostat is turned up. The little fridge at the bottom doesnt work either.
Yes,if the compressor is actually pumping,the charge has either leaked out or is low.They only take a couple of ounces,usually of 134a.In rare instances the metering device is restricted.
You can check the compressor with an amp probe to make sure that it it is running.

It doesn’t make your argument seem that strong. When you consider how many people use bottled water and how, relatively small the amount to oil used to produce the product is.
