Do people have positive stories about Coccidia?

My puppy was just diagnosed with it yesterday. He gave her Albon Suspension , Gastricalm (to stop her vomiting), a Recover dog food that is easy on the stomach and Nutrical to keep her blood sugar up since she is a small (1.9lb)9 week old chihuahua. I have been reading up on the parasite and have heard some horror stories. I am hoping my little puppy survives and kinda want to hear some survival stories from people who have experienced going thru what I am going through. Right now she has been sleeping a lot. She takes her medicine fine, She is drinking water fine but I am also givng her some water with a syringe just to make sure she stays hydrated.Her appetite for the vet dog food isnt that great. I have to try real hard to get her to eat atleast a little bit of it. She woke up today looking ok but still not as playful as she normally is. I am just worried over all. Whats the survival rate for young puppies? I would be heart broken if she took a turn for the worse.

There are tons of dogs and cats who have coccidia! Most of those horror stories are from people who waited too long to treat their animals. Just follow your vet’s instructions and the puppy will be fine.
